rather bright, quite dark red colour. Black cherries, dried thyme, notes of licorice show on the bouquet, which is just starting its second phase, has a plump quality. The palate is spice and garrigue filled, with prominent, powdery tannins taking the baton after the mid point. The finish is tarry, a shade dry. It’s too austere and dry textured to drink freely. It lacks charm, roundness. 14.5°. €7 at the cellars. 2019-20 July 2017

dark red, good core. Brambly fruit, licorice, black fruit pastille and light note of polished leather mingle in a fresh nose. The palate has a free running start, attractive raspberry at its centre, and a low level sweetness. It ends on a grainy influence, brightly. Drink solo a definite option, since it flows very well, is w.o.w. wine. There is a note of black berry coulis and a licorice snap on the finish. 14°. To 2016.  Nov 2012

quite full red. Crisp, outer air with a full interior to the bouquet; it is also meaty, slightly bosky, has garrigue, fennel and licorice in it. The palate flows well, with crispness in the black fruit, the impression of ripening that succeeded well late on. It ends with snap, and rubbed stones, is good and tangy. The black fruits with tannin is genuine. STGT wine. 14°. To 2016 June 2011

slight evolution in the dark plum colour of the robe; has a compact nose that shows prune, deep red fruit. The attack carries salty, black fruits with licorice and good rythmn though it. Keeps going well. It ends on the up, delivering a tasty flourish of raspberry and plum fruit. Good bang for the buck, VALUE. 14.1°. To 2015. June 2011

fine red robe, a little plum at the centre. There is a quiet hum to the nose – a blackberry, tar, slight vegetal note. The palate holds rather supple black fruit, more of it early rather than late, but it extends reasonably well. It is a bit firm at the end, will be a touch softer from spring 2010. 13°. 2012-13 Nov 2009

red with black traces; has a well-set bouquet – an agreeable offering of black fruit, a little nuttiness. Raisin, black fruits flavour that is well juiced, and offers good drinking. It needs food since it is powerful (1° higher than the 2008). Perfect for grilled lamb, spaghettis, outdoor drinking. 14°. To 2013. Nov 2009

2006 ()

plum colour; has a soft nose, with red stone fruit such as plum present, a little pepper, too. The palate has been made in a fleshy style, so it slips along easily, with its ripe Grenache at the helm. The red fruit is plum in nature, with jam tones and some late floral fringes. Makes for easy drinking: the fruit is more ripe than fresh – is not jaunty. Reliable wine. 14°. To 2010. Jan 2008
