red-tinted robe. The bouquet bears an aroma of black, Morello cherry fruit which persists. The palate centres on cherry, stone fruit, and delivers an immediate flavour, quietening down as it closes rather firmly. Good, fresh Tavel with enough depth and length for couscous, spiced dishes. 13.5°. To 2018  Jun 2015 

2012 ()

red tints in the robe. The nose is promising and deep, has nice “iron” in it, a steely side, gives a good image of parched, limestone outcrops (lauzes) with thyme and sage. The palate gets up and goes, runs well on fresh, firm red fruit, lengthens with a sure hand. Modern, elegant, has w.o.w. drinkability. It has character, runs directly, has good nerve and grip, is suited to salmon, saucisson, steamed cod, for instance. pale pink; rounded bouquet that is more curvaceous than many 2008s – there is a little sweetness in the red fruits. The palate has more of a spiced, direct tone – the acidity on its sides is evident, but doesn`t lie on the outside, thankfully. This has quite a lot of content and depth. Food best. 13.5°. To 2011.
