(casks) medium depth red; the nose has a roasted front, with an air of rather supple red fruits behind. The bouquet is a little reserved. There is a gentle wave of raspberry fruit along the palate, with light spicing. An easy, tender St-Joseph for early drinking with meat pies, pasta. No new oak this year. 5,000 b. 12.5°. rather dark robe. There is an unusual note in the nose – pine, beeswax – also peanut. There is a meaty air in its red stone fruit. The palate has a pine needle, oily nature. It is fully laden with fruit on the front end. Meanwhile, there is a little spirity sensation in it, here and there, with juniper in the oily setting. From mid-2012. It needs to gain charm on the finish. ***(*) from 2014. 2018-19  Nov 2011
