100% Chardonnay (1987) from grey clay-limestone soils, av yield 40 hl/ha, cool 12 hr pre-fermentation maceration pelliculaire, night harvested, concrete vat fermented at 16°C, raised 70-80% concrete vat, 20-30% 2-3 year 228-litre oak casks 9 months, malo completed, 10-12,000 b


green tints, pale yellow robe. The nose is full of beans – offers apricots, flowers, honey, dances nicely, comes with a touch of aniseed. The palate has a direct debut, is fresh with some steel through it, shows a nice white peach flourish and gras at the end, has grip. There are nutty-floral moments here. Good wine. Makes a belle aperitif. 13°. To 2016. €5.60.  May 2013
