100% Chardonnay (late 1990s), steel vat fermented at 15-16°C, raised 7-8 months, malo blocked since 2011, screw top, 2,000 hl (not all bottled)


pale, bright yellow. Apricot-peach, flowers such as honeysuckle cluster in a lightly salty nose. The palate has an interesting finesse, with genuine, unimposed freshness. The flavour is based on white fruits such as peach, and a hint of hazelnut, all very bonny it is. Very good. Shows a little grapefruit on the finish. VALUE wine at €3.30 at the cellars. Light touch wine. Aperitif - yes, salads – yes. 12.5°. To 2015.  May 2013
