red robe; the bouquet gives a nicely loose black berry aroma, is smoky and inviting. The palate holds gently aromatic fruit, carries a little rose note also, has a good digestible quality. It’s a bit ephemeral, goes OK, but would be better with a bit more depth, foundation. 13°. 2023-24 Feb 2020


pale red; strawberry with plum fruit feature in a gentle aroma. This gives fragrant, easy drinking, is cosy and agreeable, delivers a little late tannin. It is red-fruited, lightly peppery, one to drink at the zinc bar top. To 2021 Feb 2019
