100% Chardonnay (mix of late 2000s planted by G Clusel, & late 1990s) from ex glacier soils, big galet stones on Petite Gallée & Rochipel at Millery, hand harvested, steel vat fermented at 16-17°C, steel vat raised 6 months, “drink as aperitif, or with fish, hors d’oeuvres”, organic wine

2018 ()

(vat, bottling mid-March 2019) pale robe; this has a floral, kind bouquet, graceful pear fruit, hints of lime. The palate gives a flavour of pears-apricot, beeswax, good detail on the close, aniseed on the aftertaste. This is low acidity wine that drinks in very joli fashion – hence drink from now until spring 2020. €9 at the cellars. Feb 2019

2017 ()

(vat, bottling March 2018) pale yellow. Pear in syrup, peach airs on the nose. The palate has a sweet, floral make-up, is fleshy, suave, ends with neat roundness. To 2020 Feb 2018
