2018

(cask, bottling July 2020) dark red; the bouquet has a dark red cherry, raspberry aroma, lots of reserves, more to come, has snap, will expand well. The palate has a grippy, mineral-flecked start, holds good spine and comfortable gras around it. It ends clearly, has a wee note of exertion, crushed red fruit richness central to it. It doesn’t quite have the pedigree of Viallière and Les Grandes Places. From 2024. 2044-46 Feb 2020
