2019 ()

(6-year 228-litre oak cask) quite a full red; a bacon fat, Morello black cherry aroma has good lift and clarity. The palate presents bright, immediate fruit, salted threads, good and active flow. This is w.o.w., very drinkable, rocks on with great gusto. It ends on light crunch-powder. This is bright, as per 2019. To 2026 Feb 2020

2018

quite a dark red robe; red cherry, soaked griottes, raspberry liqueur airs feature in a quite wide, steady bouquet. The palate has a floral opening, mixes nicely with soaked red fruits, a cosy texture, supple gras, the finale rounded. It has a lip smacking, light powder aftertaste, is harmonious. It’s a tiny bit mainstream, drinks now. Good with tapas, casse croute. “It’s gourmand, with concentration,” Maxime Gourdain. All oak cask raised 6 months this year. 13°. 4,500 b. €12 at the cellars.
