dark red; licorice, a mix of blue and black fruit, with neat mulberry show on the nose, a touch of tapenade, the South. It prolongs well. The palate gives sunny, soaked red fruits, raspberry, a floral hint, then a tarred, firm close. The finish has iron moments, a clack of definition. It’s cool, not excess Crozes, is still rather stiff. Fusion of its black juice and oak is required, especially on the second half. 13°. 2,000 b. From mid-2020. 2027-28 Dec 2019
