purple, dark red colour. A line of black cherry is neatly defined on the nose, its purity most engaging, has a licorice note also. The palate is also giving of clear fruit, runs freely, the tannins carrying a little powdery crunch. This is a go-go, w.o.w. wine, modern, good for a metropolitan wine bar. It’s direct, doesn’t carry a lot of spare flesh. There is a late spot of oak. Bottled Aug 2019. From mid-2020. 2026-27 Dec 2019
