2019 ()

(vat) dark robe, black tints. Licorice and ripe blueberry, soaked black cherries lead a full bouquet, which has a sunny swirl about it. The palate is fulsome, immediate, expressive, well charged with tasty black fruits and a note of late powdery tannin, the aftertaste decisive. This is promising, and will be a go-getter with barbecued foods, for example. The free rein of the fruit is pleasing making it a w.o.w. wine. Drink it in its youth. 2023-24 Aug 2020


(vat) dark red colour. There is a brewed air to the bouquet, with a cooked blackberry aroma and tar notes. It can expand and vary beyond today’s show. The palate gives a decent wave of dark berry fruit and a smoky tannin display as it closes. The fruit is easy to appreciate, and it only needs another few months to be ready – drink from late 2016. 14°. 800,000 b. To 2020  June 2016
