2015 ()

has a sturdy dark red robe, plenty of Syrah on display. The bouquet is dark and juicy, with a vibrant Syrah influence, black berries to the fore. It goes deep, and is full of bounty and expression. Its lightly floral-violet, shows some thyme, oregano, is on a tiny bit of reduction. The palate is generously fruited, the fruit lifted by some salty touches. This is full of character, and really explodes with its fruit apparel. The tannins are crisp, and bring powder to the texture on the finish. I find the blend extremely successful – the sure hand of the Grenache gras with the racy moments of the Syrah. What a bonny do this is; it will be great with grills, much gusto it has. The balance and length are both good, and the exit is fresh, with a pocket of bay leaf, laurel. It’s so tasty, is w.o.w. wine.
