2018 ()

clear dark red robe; the bouquet gives a sweet, jelly-like air of red berry fruit, is curvy and in the here and now, very primary. The palate bears well-fuelled plum and raspberry fruited content with a thorough drive and carry into the finish, which spreads widely. It has a genuine feel to it, a no-nonsense, unbridled delivery that appeals. There is some latent lip smack in the tannins, and it can move forward a little more in the next year. 14.5°. 2023-24 Aug 2020

2015

(vat) dark red colour. Blackberry pastilles with their sweetness show on the nose, with a note of tarry darkness; the palate is tasty, leads on mulberry, big red berry fruit. Good Grenache-hearted wine, unpretentious and suited to grills. 14°. From late 2016. To 2020  June 2016

2013 ()

(vat) dark robe. The nose is live, gives an appealing air of blackberry and raspberry, no holding back, has an inviting sweetness. This is tasty and forward wine, all cards on the table, offers delightful black berry fruit. It runs freely, and is w.o.w. wine, up for a good variety of dishes, and easy to drink thanks to its smooth texture and ripe tannins. 14°. To 2018  Jun 2015 

2012 ()

(vat) dark red; upfront toffee, cooked black fruits air, has a sweet, purposeful nature, carries sun in the bouquet. The palate bears well-juiced, liberal fruit, a coating of gummy, ripe tannins around it. Has enough body to go with deep flavoured dishes, and can also evolve. Persists well. From mid-2014. 2011 ()

good dark red robe, with lustre. Has a round black cherry fruit aroma, pockets of dust, spice, also raspberry. The ripe sense developed on the nose continues on the palate – it gives squeezy fruit with a line of power through it, liqueur fruit with some punch. This needs food. It loosens at the finish, is more grainy there. It has just enough content for its alcohol – drink soon before the alcohol asserts. 14°. €5.50 at cellars. To early 2015. 100,000 b this year.  Oct 2012
