full robe, dark centre. The nose is an agile mix of blackberry fruit and violets, so I suspect a decent amount of Syrah in this. Soaked black cherries are also apparent. The palate is abundantly juiced, rolls freely on its wavy richness, has an elegance and clarity; there’s a ping of oak pine in it. The finish brings in some powdered tannins that can step inside in the next couple of years. The balance is good. Assured quality here. 14°. 6,650 b. 60% Gren, 40% Syr. From 2020. 2030-31 Feb 2018
