red robe with scarlet in it. This has a soft nose, a gentle strawberry aroma with an inviting sweetness. It’s an easy, open start, has a light strike of licorice. The palate comes along with red fruits that carry a spot of sweetness and a plump make-up, ending roundly. It drinks on the go now, is a forward Tavel right off the bat. This is pleasing wine that is expressive, suited to light dishes, hors d’oeuvres, noodles. 13.5°. 40,000 b. GB£11.49. To 2019 June 2017

healthy red tinted robe. The nose is good and sturdy, with a real proper depth of red fruits, notes of garrigue herbs as well. This is serious, true Tavel. The palate attacks brightly and immediately, is full of enjoyable juice which runs freely hither and thither. This has a sparkling freshness. It finishes with good, clear energy and invites a second glass. STGT wine, bang on what is required. An ideal partner for aïoli dishes, classic Mediterranean foods. 13.5°. 43,000 b. comfortable pink colour; the nose comes nice n’easy – strawberry fruit, a trim aroma of that, and a certain depth to help it. The palate bears red fruits with a crisp delineation, and a saline note enters on the finish. Nice length, sound balance. Can be drunk solo, or with classic Mediterranean starter dishes. 13°. pink with some onion skin in it. Bouquet is a bit stiff, shows red stone fruits, some quince and crabapple. Pleasantly round start, gains some width as it goes. The shape is perfectly fine, with some circular softness at the end. Bit low in acidity, so travels rather flatly through the palate.  June 2007
