level, steady yellow robe, an appealing colour; the nose has a serene, elegant aroma with detail in the white fruits, a floral note as well. It’s a clear, stylish opening. The palate runs seamlessly with a trim collection of white fruits, white plums, develops a little salty tang towards its close, spearmint, good cut there. It’s a well balanced Châteauneuf blanc suited to steamed dishes, refined cuisine. 13.5°. 15,000 b. 80% Gren bl, 10% Clair, 5% Bourb, 5% Rouss. Bottled Apr 2019. €22.40. 2031-33 Oct 2019

attractive yellow robe; the nose carries mild spicing, with greengage plum, a note of honeysuckle, orange zest. The palate is graceful, nice and flowing right through to the neat, rounded finish. The flavour takes in white strawberry, peach. It’s a bit lightweight, safe, but is polished Châteauneuf blanc. 13.5°. 15,000 b. 80% Gren bl, 10% Clair, 5% Bourb, 5% Rouss. Bottled April 2018, all steel vat raised. €22.40. 2026-27 Oct 2018

yellow robe. Stewed fruits, white raisin airs, licorice, peach also present. The palate bears a lime flavour with white plum, discreet notes of peanut. Its acidity is fine, has an elegant freshness with quiet grip and some glow on the close. It can emerge further over time, is up for la table. The late heat is just a bit disconcerting. 2022-23 Sept 2016

clear pale yellow robe. There is a cosy, rounded aroma of white plum, a note of fennel also, on the nose. It is a clear start. The palate is fresh and entertaining, based on cleanly struck white fruits, white strawberries, with a small nuttiness on the close. Stylish wine: this can be an aperitif or will go well with steamed fish - not too much spice on the dishes due to its open clarity. Has w.o.w. qualities, is very drinkable. 13.5°. 10,000 b. 65% Gren bl, 20% Rouss, 10% Clair, 5% Bourb. Bottled June 2015. €19.90 at the cellars. 2021-22  Oct 2015

relatively translucent colour. Delicate floral, fruit-led nose. Harmonious, fruit accentuated palate with pear and peach notes. There’s a sweet ripeness to the fruit but the finish is clean, dry. Delicious now as an aperitif or with food, but will also age. 13.5°. 2022-24 JL Oct 2014

sound, mild yellow. The first nose is fresh, racy, shows iodine with a more profound note of dried fruits, an air of compote stewed fruits behind, notably pear. There is a wee floral, spring flowers angle, and it persists quietly. This has appealing, tasty white fruits, an extra surround of flan that gives a smooth texture. Fine acidity freshens the finish, which is round, purposeful. Has a calm quality. A table wine – drink with chicken, or Asiatic dishes – it has enough fat for those. Genuine Châteauneuf white, more traditional than modern. Good length. 14.5°. 65% Gren bl, 20% Rouss, 10% Clair, 5% B, 10,000 b this year. 2022-24  Oct 2013
