level depth of red in the robe. The nose combines a vegetal, damp woods, garrigue aspect with prune, dark berries. There is a mature style to it. The palate is a southern wine: the content is brewed, with a spark of clarity as it finishes, a menthol nudge there. A wine of some scale in a traditional style: drink with stews, country dishes, the autumn a good season for it. 14.5°. 500,000 b. €4.95. To 2018  Jun 2015

(vat/barrel) nicely thick red colour. Has an air of quietly sweet blackberry jam – step forward the Syrah influence, with a sprinkle of licorice and garrigue dust. The bouquet gives a sense of southern sun, without excess power. The palate is enjoyably fruity and forward, delivers its bundle right away before toning down, leading to a tighter, darker grip. Easy to like and appreciate. It gives an impression of a 2011 with 2012 in it. Serve a tiny bit chilled. Grilled foods ideal. 14°. 2016-17  Oct 2013
