2018

(casks) dark robe; the bouquet has an inky presence, comes with oaking, cool black fruit within. The palate moves with some purpose, has a juicy middle, develops darkness from its tannins towards the finish. It has a lissom texture, and the black fruit has a tasty centre to it. It continues well into a clear finale, a good lift there. 10% less Grenache this year. 15°. 6,000 b. 75% Gren, 15% Syr, 10% Mourv. From 2023. €49. 2042-44 Oct 2019

2015

(casks) bright, quite dark red robe. The nose is smoky, rather rugged and raisiny, has an aroma of red berry fruit, a little concentration. The palate gives raspberry fruit, coulis, near liqueur, style, brings along ripe, gummy tannins towards the finish. It has a fluid quality, and some inner power. It’s extracted, relatively disorderly for now, so wait. From 2019. 2030-32 Sept 2016

2013 ()

(casks) deep purple-crimson colour. Has a cherry nuanced nose. The palate is tight and closed, compact in style. The fruit is solid, with tannins that build on the finish. Well constructed wine. Looks to have the potential to age. 14.5°. From 2017. Harvested 15 October. 2027-29 JL Oct 2014
