2018 ()

dark robe; the nose carries an aroma of sweet black berry fruit, with a floral suggestion, damp tea leaves, has a calm depth. The palate is freely juiced, attacks well, with a good level of assured content that brings a nice couch to it. The length is firm, good. The tannins have a thickness that requires another couple of years to tone down. 90% Gren, 10% Syr. €15. From 2022, decant it. 2035-37 Feb 2020

2015

(casks) pale red robe. The nose is sparky if a little lean, reflects raspberry fruit mostly with a cool spicing, some licorice. The palate holds red fruits with tannins that are on the cutting side. It’s rather fragile, and lacks reassuring richness along its path. The finish is rather vacant. 14°. 19,000 b. £15 in GB. Try, and hope for more roundness, from 2018. 2022-23 Apr 2017
