bright, engaging yellow robe. The nose is unusual, shows some lemon curd depth with a note of boiled turnips, make what you will of that. It’s broad, carries grilling. The palate has a white fruits jam flavour, peach prominent, carries some helpful salt, tang as it travels. This has cool notes, is a clear-cut, bouncy Châteauneuf blanc, with some trim richness through it. The finish is clear, on spearmint, a touch of rockiness. Interesting wine, good with pork. 13.5°. 40% Clair, 35% Rouss, 25% Gren bl. 2028-30 Oct 2018

handsome yellow colour. Has a good steady and natural bouquet – nutty, fresh, lightly honeyed, a floral white flower hovering, with citrus-tangerine, cooked lemon notes. This is tasty, serene, suavely textured, has fine outer freshness and good zip. It ends on a small burst of southern glow and an aniseed flourish. It has commendable agile freshness, detail. The flavour centres on plum, peach. The length is decent. It skims a tiny bit, is tight. The aftertaste is salted, with dried fruits, tension. 13.5°. 60% Clair, 25% Gren bl, 15% Rouss. 2024-25 Dec 2017

shiny yellow robe. The nose has discreet style, with a fresh take, a little spearmint mixed in to its vanilla (from oak) and white peach fruit, a hint of aniseed. The palate moves with fine energy, serves a refreshing glass, the flavour centred on cooked pear. It has a good buzz about it. Bingo for the aperitif or steamed dishes. Instant delivery wine, just a shade on the tecchie side. 13.5°. 3,000 b. 45% Rouss, 30% Clair, 25% Gren blanc. Bottled March 2016. 2021-22 Sept 2016
