2010 ()

(barrel/casks) attractive, bright robe. Dark, speckly air marked by raisin, damp dark soil – there is a long carry to this, also airs of its lees for now. The palate is rather spritzy, the foundation fruit not as clear as it could be. At heart, its fruit is smooth in texture and its elements fit together. Correct length. A traditional style Châteauneuf, but it is wiry and also burnt on the finish. Further raising can only aid it. From late 2013. 2023-24 Dec 2011

quite deep black cherry robe; very raw aroma, black fruit, acidity. Uneasy sart to the palate, this is not clean and is the only sample. Dec 2009 58% Syrah, 29% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre this year, raised 50% concrete vat, 50% large barrel 22-24 months, 19,000 b

dark core to the red robe; hints of game and turn on the nose – there are red fruits that mix ripeness with freshness. Sappy, squeezy red fruit on the palate, the raspberry taste uppermost. A tasty, evident wine – has sound length and an aromatic palate. Some late tannic grip. Can roll quietly along to 2016-18 14°. Oct 2007
