2016 ()

(vat, at 1030 specific gravity, 65% of fermentation completed) pear fruit, candy aroma, is a bouquet with rich, assured depth. The palate bears supple gras, is fine, has joli length, a delicate close. This holds charming fruit. 13.7°. 2022-23 Sept 2016

2014 ()

yellow robe. The nose is attractive, has the brightness of the year, comes with lime and some pear, light mandarin. It is a cool and mineral start. This is gentle, poised, appealing wine, up for a nicely full aperitif, sole or pork dishes, for example. The flavour centres on dried fruits, a spot of ginger. The close is salted, with a little grip. I find the nose airborne, the palate more of the earth, ground. “It has an extraordinary natural freshness,” Pierre Perveyrie.
