(vat) bright, lucid red robe. Has a jolly, rounded aroma, blackberry and plum with a pure quality about the fruit. It’s sunny, Redondo, shows light licorice. The palate bundles up herbes de Provence with black berry fruits, and tannins that are well ripened, bringing extra core to the wine. It’s still restrained, has the structure for a life of four to five years, nothing overdone about it, in the domaine style. The juice is tightly offered for now. It is bright, drinkable, and has an iodine quality with some inner strength on the finish. 14.5°. From 2018. To 2022 Aug 2017

2014

steady red robe. Mixed herbs, raspberry fruit aroma with a sunny openness. The palate drinks freely, is pretty much ready now. There is just a hint of “high” fruit, something that breathing will help to dissolve. The finish is trim, a little rocky minerality and closing down there. 14°. 50% Syr, 40% Gren, 10% Cari. From spring 2016. 7,500 b. Bottled June 2015. €7.90. 2020 Oct 2015

bottled last week: pretty, dark red; smoky, grounded, red fruited air that could be clearer – it is in on itself post-bottling. The palate delivers very typical, rounded Grenache red fruit; the flavour resembles red jelly or jam, with Syrah in second place to bolster it. The length is OK. A drink up early style; from mid-late 2012. Has nice length, and there is a sleek run of fruit, with no bumps. 14.5°. To 2015. *** on the basis of settling in bottle. Feb 2012

dark robe; has a reductive air on the nose, fronted by sappy black fruits – the nose has a sweet charge to it, but the fruit inside it is classy. The palate is juiced, and carries generous black fruit with definite body within: hence it lasts well, fills the palate. Good, solid length; it is very smooth and its ripe tannins are integrated. Good balance – it ends fully and roundly. 14.5°. €7.50, 80% G, 15% M, 5% Syr this year, bottled March 2011. 2016-17 Feb 2012

red, with black traces. Has a baked aroma, slight greenness within. A grounded wine on the palate – its firm red fruit is surrounded and sealed by quite full matter before expanding late on. It offers richness with a throb of degree at its centre. A bit dry on the finish. From spring 2011. 2013-14 Oct 2010
