the nose has hidden depth, a stop and pause quality if you want to be precise on its definition. There is some herbal garrigue in the aroma, baked stones and black fruit. The palate starts tightly, and grips well as it goes. There are structured tannins evident at the finish – it is live and peppery. At an in-between stage between youth and the next phase, and the tannins are are a bit solid for it. I am not sure it can seal itself up. 14.5°. 2009-10. Nov 2007
