2018

(vat) dark red; there are inky notes, black berry, cassis fruit, cassis leaf on the nose, which is firm, not overdone. The palate offers steady, fluid gras richness in a nice register, purity with flexible tannins on the end. Balance and harmony here. There is a good, serene flow along the palate. From 2022 or later. 2035-38 Nov 2019

2017 ()

dark red; Morello black cherry fruit with neat sweetness on the nose, comes with a hint of rosemary. The palate runs clearly, smoothly, with clear cassis, blue fruit, takes on gummy tannins that add their couch. It’s harmony wine, like the 2018 Félicien. It’s intense on the finish, more scaled than 2018. From 2023. Bottled Jan 2019. 2037-39 Oct 2019

2016

dark red; the nose is just emerging, peppered, on blood, some animal, very Mourvèdre, has a prune fruit ripeness. The palate engages via fleshy content, stirs the soul a bit, pockets of mystery after half way. The length is wholesome, the balance sound. It’s naturally presented with a little late coolness. It’s moving into shape – drink from 2022, decant it. 15°. Bottled Jan 2018. 2036-38 Oct 2019
