dark red robe. The bouquet shows the oily fruit essence of the vintage, has a creamy depth, mulled and soaked cherries, red griottes, in the picture. The palate is tarry, dark, smoky on the outset, bears thrusting content with vigorous tannins that give a chiselled, tarry finish. The tannins are still out on their own, need another year. This is full-hearted, serious Côtes red, even up to game dishes. 14°. 2030-32  Oct 2018

dark red, handsome colour. This has a bright, forward bouquet with a slightly sweet, rolling air of blackberry. The palate bears streamlined dark fruit, with supple tannins in support. It finishes as a whole, in up-tempo, liberal fashion. Enjoyable and free wine. 13.5°. €7. To 2019.  Oct 2015
