2016 ()

fair red robe. The nose gives an air of blackberry with a sweet side to it, prune and plum fruits also lurking. It has a soft, floral tone. This drinks easily, doesn’t have prolonged depth, skims along. The trouble is the 15°, which unbalances it vis-à-vis its superficial content. I’d like this to be 1° less, or the same degree with a longer vinification time. 14.5°. To 2019 Nov 2017


plum red colour. The nose is mild, carries a sweet aroma of strawberry with herbs such as rosemary, a hint of aniseed. The palate has sweet spicing on the go, a savoury, sweet tone of red berry fruit, a pliant texture. A natural, unforced wine with local attributes, for early drinking with barbecues, grills. 13.5°. 65% Gren, 30% Syr, 5% Mourv. €3. To 2018  June 2016

2014 ()

steady red robe. Has a curvy, open bouquet led by blackberry fruit with a little bosky, pine influence, a note of grilling. The palate is juiced, gives a raspberry flavour. Its tannins need until late 2016 to absorb. Plenty of interest, and local touches, here. Good with roast lamb. 13°. 2,000 b. €6. Bottled Feb 2015. 2019-20  Oct 2015

2011 ()

plum robe; red jelly air that is curvy in shape, also shows smoke and ash touches. There is an iodine influence on the attack, bringing out Grenache plum fruit with a little burnt intensity in it – that is the last impression. Bottled just 2 weeks ago, though – drink from autumn 2012. Correct wine in 6 months. To 2015 Feb 2012
