2010 No Rating

(casks) full yellow, already. The nose is oxidative, high on alcohol. Horrid palate, burnt and sticky – bad oak. Bad example. Ignore. €25. Dec 2011

mid yellow colour; spice and baked white fruits aroma that is solid, and shows some lime as well. The palate starts with grip, has a live core, then straightens out. It works on a degree of power, so bears even a little raisin and Dundee cake in the taste. A solid wine overall, its finish will be more rounded by mid-2009. 2015-16 Jan 2008

toasted, almond aromas – direct, straight up, there's oak here, too. Rather angular palate, acidity is apparent. Some finesse towards the end, as if some Clairette, but doesn't finish smoothly. Has an aggressive side on the palate with the combo of oak and acidity. Nov 2006
