60% Grenache (late 1980s-late 1990s), 30% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre from galet stone covered clay-siliceous soils, destemmed, 3 week vinification, daily pumping overs +part vat emptying/refillings, steel vat raised 12 months, unfined, filtered, 40,000 b


(vat) red robe. Has an air of near carbonic maceration red fruit, an aroma that skips along, is simple and offers no variety. The palate is similar – it coats on red fruit that lacks real depth of surrounding content to handle its alcohol. It doesn’t quite pull off the trick of being an easy to drink wine.
