80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault from red clay with stony limestone soils, destemmed, crushed, 20-25 day vinification at 27°-30°C, cap punchings, part vat emptying/refillings, vat raised 9 months, filtered, “drink with red meats, mature cheese, game dishes”


regular red robe; there is an oak-nutshell presence leading the bouquet, with mixed dried herbs, red berry fruit that is clinical. The palate has a chewy essence, with mulberry fruit, a certain intensity about it. It’s a little unbalanced, vis-à-vis the sun, degree, ripeness. The finish is assertive, chewy. 80% Gren, 10% Syr, 5% Cins, 5% Mourv. From 2022, decant it. 2032-34  Feb 2020
