quite a full robe; high, alcoholic aroma – it is hard to avoid its latently high degree. Raspberry flavour, definite eau de vie connections, on the palate, so it is a streaky, not a comfortable nor well-set ride. Balance not complete. I suspect the alcohol will detach. A pointed arrow wine in shape. From mid-2012 or a bit later. 13.5° - note the degree – how ripe and how balanced was the ripeness of the crop??? 2020-22 Sept 2011
