dark red hue. There are green olives, almost lactic notes on the nose, a little grilling in with some raspberry fruit. It has southern weight. The palate presents a little style in its restrained content, the Grenache expression nicely judged, not in excess. There is a closing note of tang, near cigarette ash, a shift in the texture with that. I feel this could have been raised another winter pre-bottling; at present its reserve is due to the bottling. It keeps going OK. Decanting a must. 14°. 9,000 b. 90% Gren, 5% Syr, 5% Cins. €25. From late-2019. 2035-37 Oct 2018
