dark red with a little purple. The nose shows red berry, mulberry, with a small note of reduction, gaminess, “high” airs, a little toffee. It’s curvy enough, with garden red berries present. The palate comes with comes fleshy plum fruit content, centres on its Grenache, but fades a little towards the finish. There is a little florality before the drier finish and grainy late moments. It’s pretty much ready now, is a bit basic. It’s OK, but is let down by the finish. 13.5°. 60% Gren, 40% Syr. 50,000 b. To 2019 Jan 2017
