(vat) dark robe; the bouquet lines up neat cassis fruit with some freedom, a gentle top floral air, with a touch of licorice. The palate offers tasty, pure black fruits with a mite of sweetness that pleases, goes along serenely, is one of the less powerful or forced 2018 St Jos. It will give a bonny glass in a couple of years, is nicely orchestrated. The finish introduces fine powder tannins that will ease into it. €35 at the cellars. From mid-2021. 2032-34 Nov 2019
