The Wines

Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache blanc

2016

clear yellow robe. Has a citrus-inspired, lemony aroma, dabs of pear fruit behind in the second, fuller rank, with a late nuttiness. The palate delivers a fresh, carbonic has near spritz or perlant feel, with lithe content through to a white fruits compote styled finish. This is rather technical wine. I prefer the nose to the more contrived, but perfectly acceptable palate. The flavour rests on white plum, banana. It ends rather firmly. The deliberate freshness policy has not allowed it to carry some of its southern body. OK for the aperitif. 13°. To 2019 Aug 2017
