2013

(large barrel, bottling March 2015) deep, purple colour. Dark fruit notes with a cassis nuance show on the nose. There is a licorice and cassis flavour on the palate, which is broad and full. This is a substantial wine with dark, fleshy fruit, has plenty of matter. Oak is apparent, but is integrated. Has ageing potential. 14.5°. €14.50. From 2017. 2026-27 JL Dec 2014

2010

shiny, big dark robe; very broad bouquet – a sweet style black cherry and raspberry – it is all full of ripeness, fruit and tannin, shows smoke, and is open. The palate is suave, has an easy welcome thanks to its juiced black fruit. Low-level tannin is built in. The length is sound. Texture plays a strong role here, a gummy fabric with droplets of juice. All very orderly, is approachable. From late 2012. 2026-27 Dec 2011

2004

(barrel) three-quarter depth red; the bouquet offers red fruits with some high tone present, a little white pepper – it is a bit narrow. This is rather rigorous and taut for now. It shows some gras late on. Very unformed, raw, as it stands. Not easy to assess, it seems lean and stretched. Maybe from late 2007, but I have my doubts. 2011-12 Dec 2006

2003

herbal, thyme aroma with quiet sweetness and some smoke – is calm. Round, fleshy attack of black fruits and olives that are infused with violet and prune in the flavour. Good feel to this, nice and southern. 2011-12 July 2005
