2016 ()

full, dark red, a thick robe. The bouquet has airs of crushed berries, sweetly piled up, prune and blueberry coulis, licorice. The palate gives fragrant, tasty black fruits, blackberries with a liqueur angle. It has the 2016 ease and fleshy appeal, the tannins are good and ripe, fit in well. This is redondo, savoury win which holds good, fine juice. There is a late pebbly texture on the aftertaste. 2022-23 Feb 2018

2011 ()

purple, shiny dark red colour. Has a round, sensual red berry fruit air, a little “darkness” in it – the fruit is sleek, and there is a smatter of licorice present. This has a tasty, highly drinkable palate, is a real easy drinker. Polished, very fine grain tannins are well inside it. A spot-on 2011, supple and w.o.w. wine it is, has great fluid continuity. Solo drinking right on the agenda here. Very good – it exactly does the Business. Has steady length, can be drunk now, is swishly modern. 14.5°. To 2016  April 2013
