(casks) dark red. The bouquet is overt, ample, has a soaked fruits aroma, ripeness on parade, a note of damp vegetation. The palate is sweetly lined with fleshy content, a neat stretch of blackcurrant coming forward just before its minted, chewy close. It’s just a little stretched, exerted on the palate, which is a concern regarding its balance. 13°5. From 2019. 2027-29 Nov 2017


dark red, thorough robe. Smoky black fruit aroma, violet and oak with it, blackberry jam at its centre, along with a gamey, reductive suggestion. Stylish palate fruit with oak traces inside it: it gains a grainy momentum. Modern style wine. The aftertaste reflects violets and oak. Correct, but not inspiring. 2020-21 April 2011
