75% Grenache blanc, 15% Roussanne, 10% Clairette blanche from galet stone covered clay-limestone soils with a red clay base, hand harvested, steel vat vinification at 17-18°C, steel vat raised 6 months, “drink as aperitif, or with cooked or raw fish, poultry, goat cheese, brebis, cow’s milk cheese”, organic wine

pale, fine yellow. The nose is fine – salted, precise, clear, on citrus fruits, with a soft peach beyond them, a cosy centre. Cellar outer, vineyard inner. There is also a touch of licorice, aniseed. The palate holds white fruits that are tightly assembled, come with “steel”, a fresh, direct spine, is a tiny bit taut from the vinification at low temperature . It drinks freshly, crisply, has a little inner richness of content. The length is fair. This is a wine based on freshness, and can evolve, is rated on that. 13.5°. To 2025 Jan 2018
