100% Clairette blanche from sandy soils, vat fermented at 16°, steel vat raised 4 months, malo blocked, 1,200 b

2018 ()

attractive yellow robe; the bouquet sits below deck, is closed, just a hint of nuts in it. It has southern weight. The palate is tight-knit, with firm content, also sealed up. This can evolve in the right direction, opening and being more friendly, suited to cod, sea bass. The gras has quality, so patience will be rewarded. Decant it. 13.5°. 1,200 b. 100% Clairette. Bottled Jan 2019. €20.50. From 2022-23. 2031-33 Oct 2019

2016

fine yellow robe. Has a refined, rather delicate, floral, white flowers aroma backed by mild peach, white plum. It’s not really open. This holds together closely in a supple attack, develops a fleshy mid-palate, shows late grip, low-key sweetness on the aftertaste. There’s a little mineral to freshen it. The length is fair. It seems in on itself. There is gras within, but it isn’t very demonstrative. Decant it, and hope it wakes up. 2021-22 Sept 2017
