purple, some black tints. Blackberry jam, friendly and rounded air, a trace of raspberry, and notable licorice. Good lift in the nose, too. The palate is supple, has pockets of spice, and tangy licorice at the end. The centre is agreeable, aromatic and fluid blackberry fruit – this is w.o.w. wine, a real easy drinker, all on the first take. Great for aperitif, with saucisson for instance. Not great length to it, but is fun wine. 12.5°. To 2014  Oct 2012
