quite a bright yellow, appealing robe. Nutty, authentic nose – peach, high tone, a tang of aniseed. Calm debut to the palate, then a good, suave run along it until it widens nicely and gradually. A good, refined Condrieu, attractive wine of good length, a firm close. Ends on white jam, rather rich notes. 13.5°. To 2013. Dec 2009


very buttery, classic bouquet – broad and open, with a little spice and flan circling around it, too. The palate is more discreet than the nose – starts with quite a fat thrust, then tightens. Traces of licorice at the end, some heat kicks in. Is nicely full, but must be drunk with food. The flavour reflects crème patisserie with some spice and an apricot-fennel flavour. Robust but savoury, has a really nice palate. A bonus is that it is STGT in character. To 2009 14.5°. Nov 2006


quite full robe. Ripe, opulent bouquet - apricot imprint. Full palate, with some kick. Lot of fat matter, slight spice on end. Fair length, some heat on finish. Gourmand style of wine. Drink by 2007/08. March 2005
