(casks) dark red; lardon, bacon cuts come with an intensity of black cherry on the nose, blueberry fruit and iodine – it has cool features. The palate is discreetly stylish thanks to a good flow of dark cherry fruit and blackberry, holds squeezy, mild tannins, finishes on mineral rockiness. There is a sound shape to evolve here; it carries honest potential, is an ensemble. 13°. From mid-2020. 2032-34 GB £148 (est) per 12 b i/bond H2Vin quintessentially@h2vin.co.uk +44(0)203 073 6655 Nov 2018

dark red robe. The nose is authentic and gives a very good opening – it has the reserve of granite, airs of grilling, pork, is bright and alert, with raspberry fruit that convinces. The palate hands out zappy red fruits with neat tannins in support. It’s not very deep, but is elegant and pretty true. This has stealthy depth. (casks) mild red. Reductive, medium weighted nose, shows licorice and black, dark berries, smoke; it has a quiet inner depth. The palate has a grainite-inspired structure, clean tannins right around it, a lot of dentelle, clear-cut quality. It is stiff now, but can yield. A pocket of late black stone fruit is helpful. Decant this. 13°. From late 2015. £132 12b i/b H2Vin www.H2Vin.co.uk orders@H2Vin.co.uk 2028-30 Nov 2014

fair red robe. Smoky, floral-noted nose, has airs of plum and licorice, is also peppered. There is lurking reduction on the palate. It is now in a quiet phase, and is capable of showing more fruit and body. It ends quite roundly, delivers raspberry fruit on the aftertaste. Correct. Perhaps will be show more and be more on the go from late 2015, and a decantation. £135 12b i/b H2Vin www.H2Vin.co.uk orders@H2Vin.co.uk 2026-28 Nov 2014 Previously Nov 2013 **** (casks) dark robe. Oily, smoky outer aroma with a consistent coulis black fruited depth at the heart of the bouquet – gives an gush of soaked berries. The palate sets off on a liqueur black fruiting, with a sweet scenting underpinning it. Streamlined black fruit and oak here: a no-nonsense, racy St Jo that has the breeze of the northern St Jo zone beyond its oak. From late 2014. 2023-25  Nov 2013

(casks) rather dark. The nose proffers mild blackberry fruit, which has an oily note, gives tea and tar, a note of licorice. The palate combines fleshy black fruit with flexible, mild tannin. It is close to ready. The fruit is gummy in texture. It continues soundly, just lacks some dimension and flair late on, but it is a Steady Operator. To 2023-25.  Nov 2012
