yellow robe; ripe, slightly high fruit airs, compote of stewed white fruits, peach, with a note of flowers on the nose. The attack is light, then there’s the development of its degree, power, which doesn’t fit it. This is uneven, not an ensemble, comes and goes. There’s Marsanne tang in its white fruits and the finish is a touch bitter. 14°. 2022-23 GB £165 per 12 b i/bond H2Vin quintessentially@h2vin.co.uk +44(0)203 073 6655 Nov 2018

2015

full yellow, a big robe. The bouquet is broad, and runs with exotic fruits derived from the strength and ripeness of the vintage. The palate sequels from that, with a petrol style flavour, orange marmalade, and a smooth, deeply-set texture. The finish is broad and fluid, lip smacking. Decanting helpful here. This is big wine for la table, and sauced chicken, white meats. It seems to have very ripe Roussanne driving its show. 2021-22 Oct 2016
