dark red; has a blackberry, plump air, rushed raspberry, with pepper, snap, spice. There’s an early display of mixed fruits on the palate, with length on salt-nuttiness, some oaking. It stands up well, is genuine, just avoids being dry on the close. Drink with steaks. 13.5°. Bottled July 2019. To 2025 Feb 2020
