bright red robe; wisps of likeable blackberry jelly or jam on the nose – has a scented, good appeal. The palate is tighter and more grainy, the fruit a touch brittle. It ends on a more “wire” note, with only a little roundness. Stand-up drinking, a wine with a pepper aftertaste. 12.5°. To 2012. Nov 2009
