fine yellow hue; has a pear-apricot aroma, a neat sweetness, cooked lemon also. The palate reveals young vines Viognier, is less effusive than the nose, often the case. It holds lightweight content, and the close is soft, with apricot on the finish. It’s easy to drink – ça passe. “2019 is a bit more floral,” Emmanuelle Verset. 12.5°. 1,900 b. €11. Bottled April 2019. To 2021 Dec 2019

yellow robe; the nose gives an aroma of cooked Bramley apple, a note of pear. The palate is soft, a touch fleeting but holds squeezy gras richness, ends on flowers, butter. This is gentle and honest, and is quietly concentrated at the end. It’s decent in its grade. Good for starter dishes. 14°. Bottled end May 2018. €10. To 2020 Dec 2018
