steady red robe; red summer fruits air with nutty, floral notes, an emphasis on red jelly and some dust and grain, a note of baked heat. There is a compact bundle of red fruit and matter on the palate. Its length is limited for now, but this can wake up – the mid-palate is juiced, red fruit forward in a true Grenache manner. Symptoms of a hot year in this wine. From 2014. 13.5°. 2026-27 Sept 2011

pretty, quite full red; the nose “glistens”, is attractive – there is alert but ripe red fruit, red cherry in a persistent, open aroma – it is also floral. Red fruits, damson plums line the palate – it is supple until drier, oaked moments come along. Measured and agreeable wine. A bit less oak on the finish would be preferable. From late-2010 to soften the finish, but OK with food now. 14.5°. 2018-19 Nov 2009 Previously June 2008 *(*) bright, quite full red; enclosed, close-knit aroma of red fruits – raspberry, mulberry, with a nutty side as well. Supple, ripe red berry fruit leads the palate; it gains weight and impact from half way, ending on a rounded moment, with oak present. Clean, slightly arm`s length Châteauneuf without real kick or lasting impression. 14°. To 2014-15 June 2008
