low-key red robe. Cooked fruit aroma, a little smoky, has a facile style, the fruit open. The palate fruiting is soft, with an attractive attack to mid-palate, before it tapers a bit. Does the job,. There are light touch tannins at the end, a wee grip there. All very tidy, a sound merchant Crozes-Hermitage. Ready soon. 2017-18  Nov 2013

(this is not yet in bottle) bright, quite full red; smoky, layered nose, shows pebbly tannins, grain inside it, and light violet airs. The palate is robust, but bends to a supple point in mid-palate, ending roundly. There is a scented side to the black fruit. A bit low acidity. Game notions in it as well. To 2016 June 2011

quite full red robe; smoky, rather broad, wide shoulders black fruit that is almost meaty, has pepper in it. There is a black cherry debut to the palate, with a take-up of tar and licorice after half way. This keeps going well, ends on olive, a little raisin, is nice and ripe. True to the southern zone – suggests Pont de l'Isère, for instance. Now OK. 13°. To 2012. Nov 2009
